The Role

You will be need to offer support to the Year 4 student to enable them to manage their emotions and engage with their classes. You will work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage the pupil to act independently to succeed.

The school will offer paid trial days for you to get a real idea of the experience before committing to the position

The Student

You will be working with a Year 4 SEN student who has ASD. The student is good academically, good behaviour, supportive family and just needs someone who can build a strong relationship with no challenging behaviour.

* An experienced teaching assistant, familiar with young people with Autism.

* Experienced working with children with mental health needs

* Able to offer physical education as support

* Comfortable working on a 121 basis

* Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
