A large Secondary School in Havering is looking for a dedicated graduate to join their team as an SEN Teaching Assistant, working 1:1 with pupils who have ASD.


***SEN Teaching Assistant position located in Havering, East London.
***£70-£90 per day for this SEN Teaching Assistant role

***Long Term, Full-Time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position starting immediately

Psychology Graduate Specification:
***Minimum 2.2 Degree, with previous paid or voluntary experience of SEN
***Good A levels or BTEC
***GSCE grades C and above in Maths, Science, English
***The will and interest to want to work with SEN pupils
***Position designed for Aspiring Educational Psychologists


About the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
***Working 1:1 with ASD pupils
***Opportunity to run small group intervention classes with pupils of lower ability
***Working closely with the class teacher to develop schemes of work and a working environment that everyone can prosper in
***Liaising with parents, teachers and the SENCO to ensure effective delivery of SEN provision
