SEN Teaching Assistant required immediately on a full time basis for the rest of the academic year. My client an Ofsted rated Good Primary School in LEA Hackney are looking for the right SEN Teaching Assistant with experience to join their team.
Progress your career as an SEN Teaching Assistant SEN TA:
*Minimum one year experience working with SEN in Primary Education
*Looking to secure a long term role 5 days a week 8:30-15:30
*Working with a number of children with a wide range of special educational needs
*Early Years/Key Stage 1/key Stage 2
*Pay ranging from £70 - £80 per day dependent on your experience
*Additional training and support required if felt needed
*London Borough of Hackney
*DBS checked against children on the online update service

SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant working with children from Early Years Key Stage 2 who have a number of different special educational needs - challenging behaviour, autism or complex needs. If you have a background of working in sports, drama, music, or support work then this is possibly the best role for you. Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant will be to support SEN students within class alongside the class teacher and support from other SEN Teaching assistants. Your day will consist of helping SEN pupils in their day to day lessons and to help them in becoming more independent in order to meet their academic targets The range of different day to day activities as an SEN Teaching Assistant will keep you busy and with top of the range facilities, your days will go fly by doing a job you enjoy! A SEN TA with previous knowledge and experience working with SEN is necessary.
The successful SEN teaching Assistant for this role:
*Will have a purpose as a SEN TA and be determined in helping to change a child's life
*Have a can-do attitude and be flexible in classrooms
*Will liaise with class teachers in order to secure the best possible academic results for all pupils
*Is passionate about working with SEN children
*Have good literacy and numeracy skills
Easily accessible location via public transport. Progression and training provided as a SEN Teaching Assistant within the school while you work if felt required and dependent on experience.
