A primary school in Dartford are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them immediately for the remainder of the academic year.

*** Daily rate of £60-£65

This SEN Teaching Assistant role will see the successful applicant working closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs. Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include working and liaising closely with the pupil’s class teacher and parents to create effective development plans with the SENCO to ensure the child is making sustained progress during their time at the school. The school are incredibly supportive of their support staff, so the SEN Teaching Assistant will immediately be involved in a tailored CPD scheme that will support them throughout their time at the school.

The ideal graduate for this SEN Teaching Assistant role will have some experience working with specific SEN such as autism, ADHD and associated behavioural difficulties. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will exhibit a genuine passion for making a difference in the education and development of SEN children. The school are keen to meet a SEN Teaching Assistant will have incredibly high levels of literacy and numeracy to ensure that the children are achieving their targets in SPAG.
