SEN Teaching Assistant

CER Education is looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant for 1:1 support for a child in a mainstream school in the Lancashire area. The right candidate should have experience of working with ASD, Autism and MLD.

To apply for the role candidates are required to have the following skills and attributes:

Experience in a similar role in either a mainstream or SEN school

Possess a Level 2 or Level 3 teaching qualification

Competent & patient when dealing with conflict & challenging behaviour

Be passionate about working with SEN children

Develop & deliver personalised learning

Confident & diplomatic when dealing with parents & SLT

Committed to the child's physical, social & emotional welfare

Team player

Always positive

Motivated & eager to learn & share
