Person Specification
This role would suit a confident graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and achieved well in your degree, having earned at least a second class degree. You should possess the ability to demonstrate confidence in your ability and a natural ability to consider pupils with SEN. We want to see graduates with the drive to view challenging situations as an opportunity to learn and grow as a Teaching Assistant. You should have the capability to show your genuine passion to your career and new role in school.

About the Role
This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves you assisting with general support throughout the school. Day-to-day, you will be using a range of SEN specific resources including ICT software to advance the progression made by pupils with Special Educational Needs. This SEN Teaching Assistant position involves acting as a mentor for your pupils, taking some out of lessons for 1:1 tuition and teaching others in group sessions.
