SEN Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

*** Long Term/Interim, Full-Time role at a large 3 form primary
*** Position starting immediately
*** £60 - £75 per day dependent on experience

For this post, you must be a professional graduate who has experience supporting SEN children and earned a second class degree or better. For this post you should be an imaginative and empathetic graduate who has already worked successfully in a school-based role and an empathy for children with SEN. You will have the skills to get perspective of what is expected of you and what is possible. You must have the skills to draw on your previous experiences, challenges and successes to help your colleagues and students reach their own targets and goals.

This 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role involves you working on an individual basis with a Year 6 boy who has been statemented as on the Autism Spectrum. A charming, fun and intelligent young boy who can also demonstrate a disruptive demeanor in the classroom and requires strong, empathetic support throughout the day.

If you are a Psychology graduate, thinking about a career as an Educational Psychologist, this role will give you the opportunity to learn form the EP's who visit this school throughout the week.
