SEN Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are currently recruiting a SEN learning support practitioner to work within one of our school in Worcestershire. If you have experience with SEN and supporting children with different needs, and you would love to get into a role where you get to take what you have learnt to make a difference to another child than this role is exactly that.

The school will require and experienced SEN teaching assistant/ Learning support assistant who is:

*Experienced in supporting pupils or adults with Autism and has a strong understanding of how a pupil's needs can be met within a mainstream setting
*Confident managing challenging behaviour in the classroom and using de-escalation techniques. Team-Teach trained is not essential but would be an advantage.
*Skilled working with pupils with communication difficulties; PECS training would be an advantage but is not essential
*Able to demonstrate the impact you have had on a child's progress and development.
