We are working in partnership with an OfSTED rated “good” special school in West London which prides itself as being an “innovative and leading provider of education for children and young people”. The school caters for a variety of SEN, including ASD, MLD, SLD and PMLD across ages 5-19.

You will be working alongside a close community of teaching and support staff, led by a head who leads with “resilience, determination and ambition” to provide an inclusive and varied curriculum for its students. Personal development, welfare and behaviour have been particularly recognised as “outstanding”, thus you will be joining a team who pride themselves on developing the students socially, as well as intellectually. You will receive excellent training, including Team Teach and the school has been recognised by OfSTED for providing its staff with “good quality professional development. Sports and extra-curricular activities are a valued part of the school’s ethos which staff members are welcomed to engage with.

The position is for a secondary teacher, with the view to become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive and have experience teaching across the secondary curriculum. Previous experience with SEN, in particular autism (including Team Teach training) and learning difficulties are highly desirable, but not essential.
