SEN Teaching Assistant required for Primary Schools in the Warwick area

Your new role
The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEN. These will include Autism and Challenging Behaviour. You will be given an IEP to work to and will be required to record progress and report back to the class teacher and when necessary the pupils parents/carer's. You will have full responsibility of the pupil and their learning and will have to work on your own initiative consistently.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working with pupils with Autism and Challenging behaviour and it would be preferable to have 1:1 experience also. You will be able to work well on your own initiative consistently and be prepared to carry out tasks and activities on minimal instruction and with no supervision. You will be strong willed and be able to manage the pupils behaviour well.
