A well-regarded SEN School in the Borough of Merton is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a term-time only, full-time role paid on a daily rate.

What will this SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School position involve?

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs

• Assisting with EHCP targets and adapting activities to suit individual needs

• Supporting class teachers in managing behaviour and promoting engagement

• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

• Liaising with SENCOs, parents, and external professionals when needed

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Supporting children with SEN across EYFS, KS1 and lower KS2

• Working closely with class teachers and SEN team

• £105 - £115 per day - Term Time Only

• ASAP Start - Full-Time Role

• Based in the London Borough of Merton

• Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting

• Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure

• Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to build strong relationships with young children

• Able to follow support plans and use your initiative

• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
