Prospero Teaching is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Needs College in Ringwood which caters for young adults with profound and multiple learning difficulties and a multi-sensory impairment.

The College
*Caters for 16-25 year olds with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
*Offers fantastic services e.g. Hydrotherapy and Sensory Rooms.
*Supportive staff teams and strong staff relationships

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work
*Monday - Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm.
*1:1 and group supporting for students with PMLD.
*Supporting in subjects such as art, media and horticulture.
*Assisting with services such as rebound therapy and sensory rooms.
*Providing personal care and assisting in moving and handling.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant must
*Have experience working with special needs and physical disabilities.
*Be comfortable with personal care and including toileting.
*Have excellent communication and listening skills.
*Be hard working and self-driven.
