A graduate with a charismatic personality to match is wanted to join a good support staff team in Richmond. The position would suit a graduate ideally in a degree linked to working with children. As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will have some exposure/experience working with children who require extra support. You will essentially be working with children who have been statemented with mild Autism. The children are verbal, high functioning but require 1:1 support academically. You as an SEN Teaching Assistant will have a genuine passion to raise attainment and help be part of their early developmental stages. You as an SEN Teaching Assistant will be resilient to face challenging situations and be part of a team that work well together.

Requirements for the Role:
The school are looking for the ideal candidate who hopes to become a Teacher in the future. With the option of a schools direct/Teacher Training route, the school promote success by providing on the job training.
Prior experience supporting children in schools is highly desirable
A grade of C or above in both Maths and English is highly desirable.
Rate of Pay and Working hours:
£70 - £75 per day depending on experience.
Your working hours will consist of 08:30am - 15:30pm, Monday to Friday with a 45-minute lunch
You must have recent and a minimum of six months' experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience, we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
