SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary TA – Stockport
£58 - £70 per day
PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with an improving Primary school in the Stockport area in order to recruit positive and pro-active SEN Teaching Assistants.
This developing primary school in Stockport caters for around 190 pupils aged 3 to 11. They are looking for committed TAs who are experienced and passionate about working with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to support children with additional needs on a one to one basis in order to raise attainment. Pupils may have a range of SEN including Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will work closely with the class teacher assisting with lessons and activities while maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for all young people.
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role you must have:
A qualification in education or child care.
Experience supporting young people with a range of SEN.
Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
Knowledge across the Primary curriculum.
Excellent behaviour management with a calm approach.
A passion for helping young people to achieve success.
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
