The successful candidate will need to be a well experienced and confident individual. You will be working in a class of up to 10 students assisting the teacher in maintaining student focus on the subject being taught. Having previous experience working inside a PRU and working with students who have SEMH. You will need to be a strong team player and will need to be able to work well amongst others in a difficult setting. team teacch is a necessity as you will be required to deal with some challenging scenarios.
About the SEN school;
The school is based in Newham and is a special school for students who all have social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. pupils are taught in small classes with a high adult to pupil ratio. Each student will spend 3 says at the school with a further 2 in a mainstream link school to help with the aim of returning the pupil to full time mainstream education.
