The school are currently looking for experienced teaching assistants that have worked with students with a range of special needs.
The school has a number of students who have an Education Care Plan and require extra support from an additional TA who can work with students with varying levels of autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a demanding but very rewarding school that has a great reputation for SEN learners.
Your main focus will be in supporting the teacher as well developing relationships and trust with students. Working may occur across a range of different style including 1:1, small groups and whole class support.
The successful candidate will have;
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally having worked with SEN
*The ability to take direction from the teacher as well as working to your own initiative
*Good rapport skills with pupils
*Be available to start immediately on a full time basis
