Long term Special Needs Teaching Assistant role available from May 2018 in a Hull Primary School.
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Level 2 (or above) teaching assistant with recent experience of working with SEN children. You would be joining a small primary school in Hull to work on a one to one basis with a Year 2 pupil with ASD. This full time role will start in May 2018 and has the potential to continue for as long as the pupil is at the school.
This is a small primary school with a supportive and dedicated team. The school seeks to provide structure in both academic and social life, but places great importance in looking to do so in a happy and relaxed atmosphere in which each child can develop to their own potential. High standards are expected at all times and you will be welcomed into the life of the school. They are looking for;
-An experienced teaching assistant who is committed to working with pupils with SEN
-Someone with a good work ethic and dedication to their role
-A teaching assistant with experience and confidence in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
This role will involve working as part of a close team in a small Hull school - staff here provide each other with a strong support network. The school is easily accessible by public transport and has on site car parking.

-Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent
-Recent experience of working with children with SEN
-10 Year work history where possible and be able to explain any employment breaks
