SEN Teaching Assistant- The graduate
This primary school is searching for a career focussed graduate with future aspirations to become an educational psychologist or a fully qualified teacher. You will have graduated, preferably from a Russell group university, with a 2:1 or higher in your degree and have an excellent academic background. You must have had previous experience working with children, preferably those with SEN, specifically Autism. This experience could have been gained in any capacity, either paid or voluntary, and in any environment, not necessarily school-based.
SEN Teaching Assistant- The Role
As an SEN teaching assistant in this Rotherham primary school you will be joining the schools inclusion department. You will be working closely with the SENCO who will act as your mentor at the school. You will be working with children of all ages on a 1:1 basis or with small groups to improve their academic achievement and allow them to enjoy school life despite their learning barriers.
