SEN Teaching Assistant Coventry

SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant required to work in a Coventry SEN school.

Monarch Education are currently working in partnership with a fantastic SEN school in South Coventry, who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with pupils in their schools with additional & complex needs. If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new challenge, we would be very interested in speaking to you further.

Pupils who require this additional support may have needs such as:
*ASD (Autism)
*Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Dyscalculia)
*SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)
*Moderate Learning Difficulties
*Profound & Multiple
*Severe Learning Difficulties
*Behavioural Difficulties
As a suitable candidate, you will be confident building effective relationships with pupils, working with a wider school team to support the pupils specific needs. You will be responsible for encouraging the positive emotional, social and academic development of these children. Training in areas such as Makaton, PECs, Team-Teach are an advantage but are not essential and confidence with personal care is a must.

Our SEN specialist has been working with schools across Coventry for over 6 years and has built up an excellent reputation for putting our staff first. The schools we work with appreciate the positive relationships we build with our teachers and this is evident when they speak to our staff.
