Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with complex needs across key stage 3 and 4 at a special needs school in Bury. The School offers the support for secondary aged pupils both within school subjects and their social and emotional needs.

A SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience in working with children or young adults who display severe or profound learning difficulties, autism and complex learning difficulties
  • Enthusiasm and a caring nature
  • A good work ethic and the desire to support and make a difference

You will be required to support the students in a 1:1, 2:1 or in small groups, depending on individual needs within the classroom under the direction of the class teacher to help to create a stimulating classroom environment.
