SEN Teaching Assistant - BSL
A primary school in Leeds is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, to start as soon as possible.
The School seek a candidate who has experience in a similar role and is available Monday - Friday on a full time basis. The role will be based in the classroom supporting pupils with hearing impairments, so experience with british sign language is needed. The school is supportive and welcoming of new staff and strive to create a safe, inclusive environment for their pupils.
CER are seeking educational professionals who are able to support pupils at the school on a full time basis until at least the end of the summer term, with a September contract being available for the correct candidate. To be the successful in this role you will require previous SEN experience as you may also be expected to support the nurture group for a morning each week. The nurture group are children with a range of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The work offered is on a day by day supply basis as a full-time position for 6 weeks, in the first instance and you must have previous experience working in primary schools. This work often leads to longer term full time work or contracted work at the school after a period of time. CER are recruiting individuals with a 'hands-on' attitude and the relevant experience who want to work as part of a happy supportive staff and can aid pupils' development in term time.
