SEN Teacher - Gorton:

We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified SEN teacher to join a large provision in the Gorton area ASAP. The school supports pupils aged between 11-19 with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching within a SEN school and hold qualified teacher status (QTS).

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupils with diverse needs
  • Contributing to a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members and external agencies
  • Supporting EHCP implementation and progress reviews

Position Details:

  • Position: SEN Teacher
  • Location: Gorton
  • Type of Work: Temporary/Temp to Perm
  • Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £200 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
  • Previous experience teaching within SEN
  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

    • Hold Right to Work in the UK
    • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
    • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
