Join Masterclass Education — Now Hiring Specialist Education Teachers in Yorkshire.

Masterclass Education is looking for passionate, resilient, and dedicated Teachers to join our team supporting students with SEND & SEMH needs across Yorkshire. With a range of rewarding opportunities starting in September 2025, this is a wonderful time to make a profound difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

We are currently recruiting for Teachers across all key stages — from Primary to Post 16 — and in both specialist and alternative provisions. Whether you’re an experienced specialist teacher or just beginning your career in the sector, we’d love to hear from you.

Our team of expert SEND education recruiters are here to guide you every step of the way, matching you with a role that lets your passion and expertise make a real impact.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing high-caliber education and support to children and young people with a range of SEND & SEMH needs
  • Collaborative team-working alongside Teaching Assistants and multidisciplinary staff to enable each student’s progress.
  • Designing and delivering creative, tailored curricula and lessons that account for individual learning profiles.
  • Fostering a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment that helps promote progress, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Working closely with families, external agencies, and health care teams to enable holistic support for each pupil.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent). ECTs passionate about SEND/SEMH are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in SEND, SEMH, autism, or related settings is desirable but not essential — training can be provided.
  • Strong behaviour management skills alongside a flexible, empathetic, and patient approach.
  • A passion for making a measurable, positive difference in children’s lives.
  • Ability to adapt and differentiate curricula to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Additional training, such as Team Teach or SALT, is a desirable advantage.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible working arrangements to enable you to balance your lifestyle with your career.
  • PAYE contracts for stability and peace of mind.
  • Personalised, 1:1 support from our team, from application through to your new role.
  • Generous referral bonuses when you refer other SEND/SEMH educators.
  • Continuous professional development opportunities, including training and workshops.
