SEN Teacher - Basingstoke SEN School - ASAP start

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a successful SEN school on the outskirts of Basingstoke who are looking for an SEN Teacher who is available to join them on a full-time, ongoing supply contract, starting after half term.

Extensive experience and knowledge of teaching children with Autism is essential. They follow a primary teaching model across the school due to the needs of the students so suitable for an experienced SEN/Primary Teacher.

Due to further admissions into the school, they are looking for a passionate SEN Teacher as they are opening a new class which will be for KS2/MLD pupils. There will be a maximum of 5 children per class.

The school is set in the countryside in the Basingstoke area which provides specialist education for children and young people aged 4 to 19 years old. They specialise in providing exceptional teaching and care for learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties, specifically those with ASD with associated behavioural and/or communication needs.

The school offers day placements as well as weekly boarding, both term time only and 52 week care.
