The Role - SEN Teacher

We are recruiting for a passionate SEN teacher who possess teaching experience in an SEN school. You will be responsible for the students learning and achievements this will also include providing a safe learning environment for the wellbeing of the students. This SEN Teacher role requires you to teach a mixed class of 7 children in KS2, these children have ASC, SEMH, MLD in addition to this 3 of whom are nonverbal however they have a 1-1 SEN TA who is using communication techniques such as MAKATON so experience using skills such as this will be an advantage. The ideal SEN Teacher will have an adaptable approach and the ability to be able to overcome obstacles which will occur in this role.

The School - SEN Teacher

This SEN school is one of the largest SEN providers in Europe, they provide education to children who have ASC, SEMH, MLD and PMLD. They are based across 2 sites lower which is KS1 and K2 and upper which is KS3 and KS4. They have 3 head teaches who work together to ensure that staff have access to resources to provide students with a fun and enjoyable learning space. This role will suit an SEN teacher who wants to be part of an outstanding SEN School.
