This SEN school that predominantly supports pupils with PMLD are looking to appoint a Qualified Teacher to a permanent position for the new academic year!

This SEN School which caters for pupils with PMLD and other associated needs are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher or a teacher committed to working with SEN pupils looking to move into the sector for a permanent teaching position. The current timetable is a mixture of subjects predominantly aimed at Key Stage 3 pupils and are looking for a flexible candidate who can fulfil this requirement who will join them for the new academic year 2018/19.

The school itself is based within the LEA of Birmingham and is of an average size for SEN schools when compared to the national average. The school caters for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties for pupils aged 11-18 and the school are looking to appoint a qualified teacher ideally with experience of SEN or an experienced teacher with a passion for teaching special needs pupils and a desire to move into the SEN sector.

You will need to be flexible with a KS3 timetable covering a number of subjects’ particularly social sciences and humanities. The school are looking to ensure they appoint a good practitioner, with or without SEN experience as if required the school have the ability to offer excellent training to the successful applicant.
