A specialist SEN school in Kingston upon Thames that is a specialist ASD provision for children for children in EYFS - KS2 is seeking to appoint an SEN teacher on a full time basis. The school is focused on children with severe ASD and related cognitive issues as such the curriculum is based largely on the EYFS "P Levels and lower KS1.
The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a new and forward thinking Autism Specialist SEN Teacher. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed Teacher with good recent ASD teaching experience. The school is a supportive environment where there is a real emphasis on the development of all pupils and teaching staff.

The SLT are committed to investing in CPD and they have specified that they are happy to support a good mainstream primary teacher who has the confidence and a passion for SEND.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a desire for improving pupil outcomes, as well as some ASD knowledge (through experience and/or practice). The right candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning and the skills to engage, inspire and motivate students.
