SEMH / SEBD Teacher | Staffordshire | Temporary to Permanent Position

Hays Education are currently working with a Special Educational Needs School which is recruiting for Teachers to cover various lessons for pupils between KS3 to KS5 with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) or Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) requirements.

This job role will involve teaching a small class of pupils who are working at different learning levels. Therefore this job requires someone with the ability to assess learning, plan and differentiate work to ensure all pupils access an engaging bespoke programme of learning. This is a day to day teaching job, with the possibility of extending.

To be suitable for this role you should be an experienced Teacher with a minimum of 6 months experience of working with children or young people with emotional behavioural and social difficulties. Applicants with a QTS and/or a specialism will have a significant advantage. You will need to be passionate about helping young people achieve the best of their potential, be patient and resilient. A team teach qualification or training in crisis prevention is advantageous.
