The Role - SEN Teacher
To be successful in this role, you must be an SEN teacher that holds QTS and has atleast 2 years UK teaching experience, ideally in an SEN based role. You will be required to teach a class of 7 students that have mixed ASD and SLD needs and are working on P Levels. Most of the students are nonverbal and so ideally you will be able to communicate via Makaton, PECS or BSL etc. You must also be able to effectively plan your lessons tailored to meet the needs of all students in the class.

This SEN school prides themselves in offering first class education to their students, aged between 4-19 years that have complex needs and over 85% of students are on the Autistic Spectrum. The school is found in the borough of Richmond and is around a 4 minute walk from a local train station and is easily accessible by many bus routes.
