SEN Teacher required in Torbay area Summer Term 2018
Your new company
Hays Education work alongside a number of primary, secondary and SEN settings throughout the South West. Our client, a secondary SEN PRU type setting in the Torbay area. The school caters for students who may have been excluded from mainstream settings due to behavioural issues. The school offers outreach sessions and a personalised curriculum to many students.
Your new role
You will manage behaviour in line with the school policy, implement and deliver bespoke lesson plans to small groups of students whilst remaining happy to work on a 1:1 basis if the need arises. You will oversee a variety of different SEN needs including BESD, ASD, ADHD and various other learning difficulties.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified teacher with recent referable experience in a professional settings. You will undergo Hays stringent compliance process in line with DfE guidelines. Holding a fully enhanced DBS is essential and having it registered on the update service is desirable.
