SEN Teacher needed

Posted 2 February by Oxford Education Ended
Would you like to deliver the kind of education you always wanted to? You’ll have superb leadership, specialist support and state-of-the-art-facilities, allowing you to focus on delivering the National Curriculum to a group of primary and secondary aged pupils in a memorable way. Committed to fulfilling the potential of each and every one of your students, no matter what their educational needs (including emotional and social difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and speech and language communication difficulties), you must share the belief that all young people are capable of achieving great things.

Are you a superb classroom practitioner? Those who take the National Curriculum and bring it alive in a way that’s meaningful and engaging to students. Ideally you’ll have experience of dealing with complex education needs, as you’ll need to connect with the students – understanding what makes them unique and working to make a real difference to their social and emotional development. But none of this fazes you, as it’s what you’re passionate about. And why you’ll fit right in.

For children and young people with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. The school is a leading provider of specialist education and care for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties, complex learning needs and challenging behaviours. They have a reputation for excellence and of achieving the highest possible outcomes. In short, they are enhancing life opportunities.

For your hard work and commitment, you will be rewarded with a salary and benefits package that’s among the best in the sector. You’ll receive a competitive salary, teacher’s pension (where applicable) and comprehensive induction and ongoing training, as well as extensive staff benefits such as Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, Cycle to Work and tax free childcare vouchers.

You must hold UK QTS and have experience with working with children with SEN

This role is to start ASAP.
