A good school in Dagenham are looking to recruit an SEN LSA to work in their Special Needs Unit and in the main school.
The school has a 12 place specialist unit for autistic spectrum disorder but have recently had to open 2 more classes for children awaiting assessment for probable ASD and these are the classes where the majority of support is required.
The role will be supporting small groups and 1:1 students and the school can be totally flexible on where you work to suit you experience and expertise.
The school is based on the border of Barking & Dagenham, close to the A13. It's a good school which services a very small local community and the Headteacher says that you can feel this in the school, the parents and teachers interact in a very positive way to maximise learning in the school and at home.
The role starts immediately and will be temp to perm for the right candidate
