What you'll do:
*Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment throughout the centre
*Be aware of social, intellectual, physical and emotional wellbeing of the children and provide appropriate fun and stimulating experiences to encourage independence and child initiated learning
*Participate in curriculum planning and implementation providing an effective learning environment, meeting OFSTED requirements.
*Provide a safe and stimulating environment that makes children, parents and carers feel happy, safe, comfortable and valued
*Update allocated individual development records, maintaining confidentiality always such as assessment records and children's Care Plans
*Undertake appropriate continuous professional development and participate in team meetings such as staff and room meetings within and outside working hours
*Administer first aid and administer prescription medication when necessary
Desired Qualifications and Skills required:
*Knowledge of key worker systems and record keeping
*Knowledge of Child Development
*Ability to communicate well with adults and children
*Ability to work on own initiative, & as part of a team
*Good organisational skills
*Understanding of Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children
You will need to have DBS on the update system and two recent references.
