I am working with a primary ASD school in Haringey that are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join their team on a long term basis ASAP. The school has fantastic transport links and a supportive senior leadership team. The school attract candidates that are hard working, able and creative. In return they can offer the ideal candidate a welcoming and progressive environment with the option of continued professional development.
This role involves working on a 1:1 basis with a range of KS1 students with severe ASD, both verbal and non-verbal. Experience working with SEN is essential and any SEN specific training would be advantageous. This position would suit an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new challenge.
- Has experience within SEN or Early Years
- Hard-working, experienced, committed and motivated practitioners from special or mainstream background
- Genuine passion for education
- Friendly, caring and professional manner
