We have been approached by one of our SENCO's in the Bolton area, as they need to add an experienced, talented Level 3 Teaching Assistant to their team. This role is due to new funding being allocated for the provision of behavioural support, and is expected to run until at least June 2018.
This role is five days per week.
Working with a talented team of TA's, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students who need that little extra mentoring and assistance to reach their full potential. Whilst not providing support in a classroom, you will be running small intervention sessions for students which focus around Maths and English.
Our school is easily accessible by both road and public transport, there are two train stations within a ten minute walk and several major bus routes run within a five minute walk. Buses are available from Bury, Chorley and Wigan.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, OR
- A degree and experience of working with children/young adults
- The patience and empathy to support students who need that little extra
- The willingness to improve outcomes
- Be willing to undertake a full referencing and vetting procedure
