About the school and contract:
*We are looking for dynamic and motivational LSA's to work in a Norwich based special schools, teaching students with a range of SEN difficulties.
*Schools we work with cater for difficulties including moderate learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, autism and a range of complex needs.
*This is initially for supply work but there is the potential for it lead to a longer term role for the right candidate.
*We work with schools who cater for children in key stages 1-4 so there are opportunities across the key stages.
*Immediate start available.
About the successful LSA:
*You should ideally have experience within the SEN Sector, although this in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
*Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
*A passion for working with children with SEMH and for helping to make a positive difference to their education.
*The ability to engage with students who may not relate well to conventional teaching methods.
*The ability to be innovative and think outside of the box.
To be eligible the LSA must have/be:
*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
*The ability to motivate students whilst making learning fun.
*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with Parents/Carers.
