SEN LSA for a special school in Cambridge

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Primary LSA with experience working with children with Autism. The role is based in Cambridge and is start from Easter 2018.

About the school and contract:

*We are looking for a qualified Primary LSA to work with small groups of students
with a range of high and low functioning Autism.
*The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 7-9 class but because of their
difficulties they are learning at EYS/KS1 level.
*Purpose built school with specialist learning areas.
*This is a temporary to permanent post to stat after Easter 2018.
*The role is to work in a Special School that Ofsted have rated as "Good"

About the successful SEN LSA:

*Previous experience supporting Primary age children, ideally within the SEN Sector,
although this in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
*Previous experience working with Autism would be advantageous
*A passion for working with children with Autism and for making a difference.
*Pro Active and innovative.

To be eligible the SEN LSA must have/be:

*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.
*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with
