These roles are full time for the 2018/19 academic year.

*SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
*Psychology Graduates with/predicted a 2:1 or above
*Aspiring educational psychologists or SEN teachers
*Inner city Birmingham secondary school
*Full-time roles from September 2018 for the academic year
*£55 - £65 per day

As a preferred supplier of the Cresent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) across the midlands for schools and academies, Hampton’s Education are seeking exceptional, passionate psychology graduates who are wanting to broaden their horizons and stretch their career opportunities.

Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting children with a range of learning requirements such as cognitive learning needs i.e. Autism, ADHD as well as complex physical disabilities and children with challenging behaviour. These roles require plenty of patience and warmth; being able to connect with the children is a key aspect of the job.

You will be required to demonstrate diversity and flexibility by adapting and tailoring teaching methods to suit the needs of each child. This will include incorporating specialist equipment to stimulate interest in learning. You will also be required to liaise with the class teacher as well as professionals including, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and parents of the children.
