As an English Teacher you will be expected to teach English at Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 level with the responsibility of planning, preparing and delivering your own lessons. You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and ideally have worked in a challenging setting before. Ideally you will have worked with students who have statements for autism and mental health difficulties however the school are happy to accept applications from English teachers who have strong Inner London experience and provide them with additional support and training.
The appointed English teacher must hold QTS and be able to teach English. Also, you should be able to differentiate for individual learning needs tailoring your lessons as and when required whilst following the schools assessment and behaviour policies.
Students at this school have a range of behavioural needs including ADHD, ASD and SEMH.
The school are looking for an English Teacher who can really hit the ground running and set firm but fair teaching boundaries for students whilst allowing them to access the curriculum in a creative way in order to reach their individual learning potential.

-Be available on a full time basis

-Have completed a PGCE or hold QTS
-Be able to provide professional references
-Hold a valid DBS or be willing to process one
