SEN ASC Teacher

work in a SEN school in Hackney. The role is a full time, long term position starting in February for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right person. As a SEN specialist, you will be expected to have experience working with autistic pupils in whole class teaching or small groups. Makaton or PECS knowledge is preferable but not essential. You will be able to support engaging lessons and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.

ASC/Complex KS1 Job Responsibilities
*Ability to engage with and inspire students
*Lead a class of 8 pupils with various needs
*The flexibility to get involved with extra-curricular activities
*Knowledge of Makaton/PECS is preferable but not essential
*SEN classroom experience
