Semiconductor Product Engineer

The main focus of this role includes but is not limited to: the setup, management and maintenance of product manufacturing processes that contribute to order fulfillment and outgoing quality.

Activities that relate to this will include

manufacturing process specification and management

test coverage evaluation and management

yield monitoring and improvement

process stability and repeat-ability management

device characterization and performance analysis

Candidates should have experience of and a thorough understanding of

Basic electronics

Advanced CMOS semiconductor manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms

Flipchip BGA package manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms

Semiconductor test methods and equipment

ATE interface equipment: probe cards, load boards, test sockets

Reliability evaluation methods (ESD, HTOL, HAST, etc.)

Failure analysis techniques

Data analysis tools and statistical techniques

Relevant IT tools such as Word and Excel

Experience of the following would be useful

Linux, the Bash shell, TCL, C, Visual Basic, SCPI, Yield Analysis tools.
