As a Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a range of clients while supporting and mentoring junior team members. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accounts for incorporated and unincorporated businesses
• Analysing figures to identify trends, variances, and potential issues
• Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts and tax compliance queries
• Preparing management accounts and processing VAT returns to a high standard
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships across various sectors
• Mentoring and supporting trainee and junior team members, fostering their professional growth

• AAT qualified and actively working towards ACA or ACCA
• Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts preparation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to balance workload and professional studies
• A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine commitment to teamwork

• £30,000 to £40,000 per annum
• Full time, permanent role
• 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service
