Semi Senior Accountant - Dinnington

Role

Brearley & Co are a leading independent firm of accountants who have been established for over 30 years with offices in Swinton, Sheffield, Doncaster, Dinnington and Barnsley.

The business is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join our Dinnington office.

Due to the highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicants must have developed a minimum of 2 year’s experience working within the accountancy profession and will be part-qualified AAT

Applications from individuals who have developed suitable experience from within the accountancy profession but have decided not to pursue formal studies are also highly encouraged

Supporting the senior management team, duties of the Semi Senior Accountant will include the following:

  • Preparation of Statutory accounts to Manager/Partner review
  • Client Bookkeeping
  • Preparation of Personal Tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns
  • Develop experience in the use of cloud accounting products

Salary Package

  • Salary - £22,000 - £26,000
  • 23 days holiday plus stats
  • Flexible Working
  • Study support for AAT and further ACCA studies
  • Parking
