The successful individual will be working closely with the firm's partners.
Duties will include:
Preparation of statutory and management accounts
Ability to complete full set of accounts to completion
Produce a detailed audit planning memorandum, including details of any potential difficulties that may have been encountered during previous audits and ensure correct tests are applied to produce sufficient audit evidence, discuss with partners.
Complete audits in accordance with company audit procedures
Complete analysis of items for tax
Sign off audit sections, address any problems/queries and complete the file before passing it on to the partner for review
Discussing and resolving queries with clients
Good knowledge on Xero and Quickbooks.
Knowledge of payroll and auto-enrolment
The Ideal Accounts Semi Senior:
2+ Years' experience in accounts preparation
2+ Years' experience in Audit
Good all round knowledge on VAT, Payroll, Income tax and Corporation Tax.
Strong technical knowledge
Ability to work as a team
The successful applicant, will have worked for an accountancy firm previously and will have experience in accounts production for various entities and looking to gain wider experience while moving their career forwards.
