Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for 4 experienced SEMH specialists to work in a very challenging but rewarding Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Haringey working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils. The role starts after the Easter break and would be for the rest of the academic year at a daily rate between £70 and £85 per day.

The PRU is an all through Primary and Secondary school that works with SEMH pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings. The school has small class sizes of between 4 and 6 pupils and are looking for an SEMH specialist to work 1:1 with either primary or secondary, depending on your preference and skill set.

-Ideally candidates must have previous PRU experience
-Youth work experience would be ideal
-Team Teach or positive restraint training is preferred but not essential
-You will work closely with experienced SEMH teachers providing 1:1 and small group support in a challenging behaviour environment.
-Graduates without PRU experience are encouraged to apply as the school can offer SEMH training and support

The role would be working in either primary or secondary supporting pupils as a SEMH Teaching Assistant.

The school is easily accessible by bus and tube and has parking on site.
