SEMH Teacher required in Bury St Edmunds

Prospero Teaching are looking for a flexible and adaptable teacher to work with small groups of students with SEMH at a special school in Bury St Edmunds.

About the school and contract

*A specialist school for children with SEMH.
*Initially a long term supply role but with the potential to become longer term.
*Teaching small groups and potentially some 1:1
*A supportive Head and Senior Leadership Team
*Ongoing CPD with the opportunity to develop your skills

About the successful SEMH Teacher

*Experience teaching children with SEMH is preferred but not essential but not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
*Passion for working with children with SEMH and SEND.
*Good or outstanding experience of teaching children with various special education needs
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

To be eligible the SEMH Teacher should have/be

*Full QTS.
*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEND students
*Lots of energy and enthusiasm
*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun
*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with Parents/Carers
