Full-time and bank SEMH Teaching Assistants urgently required to work in a Coventry School on an ongoing basis and to start asap. The role will involve working 1:1 and within small groups.
This position will involve supporting children between the age of 4 and 11 with SEMH as well as supporting the class teacher deliver activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A hard-working, energetic and flexible nature
- Clear communication skills
- A calm, understanding and consistent approach to working with children
- Knowledge of Autism
- An understanding of SEMH
- Ideally Team Teach trained.
This is large primary school with an on site SEN unit to support Challenging Behaviour, SEMH and Autism. The position is to start from May 2018 and is to become long-term/ Permanent. Flexible bank staff opportunities are also available.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
