SEMH Science Teacher required in Bury St Edmunds

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science Teacher with experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). The role is based in the Bury St Edmunds area and is start from Easter 2018.

About the school and contract:

*We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher to work with small groups of students
with a range of complex difficulties including SEMH.
*The successful candidate will be teaching across Chemistry, Physics and Biology
across key stages 3 and 4.
*Purpose built school with specialist learning areas.
*The position is to start after Easter 2018 and could be either a straight permanent
position or a temp to perm role.
*The role is to work with students in key stages 2 and 3 in a school that Ofsted have
rated as "Good"

About the successful SEMH Science Teacher:

*Previous experience teaching Science, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this
in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
*Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
*A passion for working with children with SEMH.
*Pro Active and innovative.

To be eligible the SEMH English Science must have/be:

*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.
*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with
