Security Engineer - CCTV & Access Control

Our client based in Swanley are looking to recruit an experienced Security Engineer - Installing and maintaining CCTV and access control both indoors and outdoors.

  • Working closely with the sales team and service department
  • Considerable experience of maintenance, servicing, wiring and fault finding on CCTV/access control equipment, both indoors and outdoors
  • Interacting with customers and delivering first class customer service
  • Updating documentation relevant to installation/maintenance activities
  • Hours of work: 06.00am to 16:30pm (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Area covers most of the South East (London, Kent, Essex, Surrey, Sussex, + occasionally further afield)

You will have:

  • Relevant industry experience (preferably with Hikvision CCTV, IP & analogue, equipment and Paxton & Came/BPT access control equipment)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers on a regular basis
  • Be hardworking and professional
  • A high attention to detail
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Self-motivated and ability to work alone when required
  • Health and Safety knowledge
  • Full UK Driving licence (B+E a benefit)
  • CSCS Card


  • Standard 10 hour day/50 hour week
  • Overtime payable at time + third
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
