TSYS Managed Services EMEA (TMS EMEA) has a range of contact centre roles specialising in Customer Service, Risk Management, Collections, Back Office, and Help Desk related services for Financial Institutions.
We are currently recruiting for a Section 75 Specialist to join our Dispute & Chargeback team on a full time, permanent basis.
An excellent role for a law graduate or working towards, who are looking to have a first-hand experience on pre litigation investigations on section 75 of the consumer credit Act 1974. This role will expose you to case handling from the start to finish of a case investigation cycle/journey. It also involves direct communication with our major client and their legal group.
What are the responsibilities of the Section 75 Specialist?
You will be investigating customer’s claims on s75 of the CCA, which may include contacting retailers/merchants and independent specialist to assist you with your investigations. You may also contact the Financial Ombudsman as part of your investigations to obtain their view on general subject matters.
What skills do I need to have to become the Section 75 Specialist?
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Good negotiation skills
- Education- UK A-level standard or degree level
- Case handling or investigation experience
- Consumer claims experience
- Law degree - or working towards.
- Case handling experience
- Experience in claim investigation.
- Knowledge of Consumer Credit Act 1974
- Knowledge of the FSA
